Event Guidelines:

In order to go through the signing line and meet Jeff Zentner for book personalization, please purchase one of his books from Blue Willow Bookshop. Since quantities are limited, we recommend purchasing your book ahead of time to ensure that you receive a copy. Your book can be picked up at the event.

If you cannot attend the event or you live out of town and would like a signed copy of the book, please indicate any personalization requests in the “comments” section when you check out.

If you are not feeling well, we encourage you to remain at home and we will get your book signed for you. If you need a surgical mask, we have them on hand if you find yourself without one.

About the Authors:

Jeff Zentner is the author of New York Times Notable Books The Serpent King and In the Wild Light, as well as Goodbye Days and Rayne & Delilah’s Midnite Matinee. Among other honors, he has won the ALA’s William C. Morris Award, the Amelia Elizabeth Walden Award twice, the Muriel Becker Award, and the International Literacy Association Award, been long-listed twice for the Carnegie Medal, and been a two-time Southern Book Prize finalist. Before becoming a writer, he was a musician who recorded with Iggy Pop, Nick Cave, and Debbie Harry. He lives in Nashville. 

Jennifer Mathieu is the author of DevotedAfterwardThe Liars of Mariposa Island, and The Truth About Alice, which won the Teen Choice Debut Author Award. Her 2017 novel, Moxie, was developed into a film by Amy Poehler for Netflix. Jennifer teaches high school English in Texas, where she lives in the Houston area with her husband and son.

Ordering:

Payment type must be "CreditCard." Shipping will be charged if you want the book shipped to you. If you'd prefer to use our curbside pickup program, we ask that you please collect your book(s) within one month of the event date. After that date, your book will be donated to a Houston-based literacy organization.

International shipping can run from $25-50US in addition to the cost of the book and can take up to 3 months to reach its destination. Additionally, we can only ship to certain regions and countries. This purchase will include a shipping charge of $50US and if the charge is less than that, we will refund the difference when we ship your book.
