About the Panel Authors:
Hope Larson is the author of All Summer Long, which was a Kirkus Reviews Best Book of 2018 and an Eisner Award Nominee, as well as the sequel, All Together Now. She also adapted and illustrated A Wrinkle in Time: The Graphic Novel, which spent forty-four weeks on the New York Times bestseller list and for which she won an Eisner Award. She is additionally the author and illustrator of Salamander Dream, Gray Horses, Chiggers, and Mercury, and the author of Compass South and Knife's Edge, both illustrated by Rebecca Mock. She lives in North Carolina.
Misako Rocks! is a Brooklyn-based manga artist. Her first break came when The Onion decided to use her illustrations for their "Savage Love" column. Shortly afterward, in 2007, Misako self-published her autobiographical comic, Rock and Roll Love, which was featured in Best Books for Teens List by NYPL. Outside of the U.S., she has published four books in Japan. Her latest book, How to Learn English with Misako's Method, became a bestseller on Japanese Amazon. She teaches manga drawing classes at numerous middle schools in New York City, as well as at the Metropolitan Museum, and the Brooklyn Cherry Blossom Festival.
Emma Steinkellner is an illustrator, writer, and cartoonist living in Los Angeles, California. She is a graduate of Stanford University and the illustrator of the Eisner-nominated comic Quince. She is the author and illustrator of The Okay Witch graphic novel series.

If you'd prefer to use our curbside pickup program, we ask that you please collect your book(s) within one month of the event date. After that date, your book will be donated to a Houston-based literacy organization.
