About the Authors:

DEBRA DRIZA is the newest member of blogging group YA Highway, and a former physical therapist who much prefers torturing characters. She's particularly fond of sweets, adding random colors to her hair, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, and teen TV. Please don't ask her to locate anything in her purse, aka "the black hole of doom." MILA 2.0 is her first novel in a sci-fi thriller trilogy from HarperCollins.

SHANNON MESSENGER has studied art, screenwriting, and television production, but realized her real passion was writing for kids and teens. She's the author of the middle grade series, KEEPER OF THE LOST CITIES, and LET THE SKY FALL, the first in a new series for young adults. AMY TINTERA grew up in Texas and now lives in Los Angeles, California. She has degrees in journalism and film and can usually be found staring into space, dreaming up ways to make her characters run for their lives. REBOOT is her debut novel.

KASIE WEST lives with her family in central California, where the heat tries to kill her with its 115-degree stretches. She graduated from Fresno State University with a BA degree that has nothing to do with writing. She's the author of PIVOT POINT and the DISTANCE BETWEEN US.

What:  Authors Debra Driza, Shannon Messenger, Amy Tintera and Kasie West will appear as part of the S.W.E.A.T. (SoCal Writers' Excellent Adventure in Texas!) group tour to discuss their young adult novels. Author Mary Lindsey will serve as moderator.
