How Our Events Work

Blue Willow is proud to bring over 300 events every year to Houston area readers of all ages. Our events are free and open to the public, unless otherwise noted.

One of the coolest things about meeting a favorite author is having the chance to get your book signed. To get a book signed at one of our events, you must purchase a copy of the event book from Blue Willow Bookshop. In so doing, you're supporting a local, independent business—and you're also letting the book's publisher know that they should keep sending great authors our way. Think of it this way: You wouldn't bring your own toppings to a pizza parlor, would you?

If we're anticipating a large crowd, we may ticket the event or issue signing line groups. In these cases, ticketing and signing line information can be found on the event's dedicated page on our website.
