Admission: This is a ticketed event. Visit Brown Paper Tickets to purchase a ticket to the event. Your ticket will admit one person, and each ticket includes a pre-signed copy of SAVE ME THE PLUMS. You can choose to have your ticket mailed to you or to print it out at home. In either case, bring your ticket to the event.
We recognize that some of you may have purchased a copy of SAVE ME THE PLUMS elsewhere or may not want to keep the copy that comes with each ticket. Therefore, Blue Willow Bookshop will collect copies that you may wish to donate and will ensure that they are given to Texas schools or public libraries.
Ruth Reichl is the bestselling author of the memoirs Tender at the Bone, Comfort Me with Apples, Garlic and Sapphires, and For You, Mom, Finally; the novel Delicious!; and, most recently, the cookbook My Kitchen Year. She was editor in chief of Gourmet magazine for ten years. Previously she was the restaurant critic for The New York Times and served as the food editor and restaurant critic for the Los Angeles Times. She has been honored with six James Beard Awards for her journalism, magazine feature writing, and criticism. She lives in upstate New York with her husband and two cats.
If you cannot attend the event, please make arrangements to pick up your unclaimed book(s) within a month of the event date. After that date, your book will be donated to a Houston-based literacy organization.
