HYBRID: Jarrett and Jerome Pumphrey | Link + Hud: Heroes by a Hair

What:

We are very excited to welcome Jarrett and Jerome Pumphrey to Houston to celebrate their new book, Link + Hud: Heroes by a Hair. This event will also be streamed live via a Zoom webinar. You will be able to see the author, but they will not be able to see you. We will have the chat and the Q&A functions open in the webinar.

Although masks are no longer required, our store can get crowded during events. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, please do so. We will have surgical masks on hand if you find yourself without one. If you are not feeling well, we encourage you to stay home and we are happy to get a book signed for you!

NOTE: Books will be available for pick up at the event.

If you prefer to attend via Zoom:

• This event is free to attend, but registration is required. You can register for the VIRTUAL event here. Once you register, you will receive an invitation to join the virtual event. If you are attending in person, registration is not required. 
• NOTE: Because this is a virtual event that will be hosted on Zoom, you will need access a computer or other device that is capable of accessing the internet at a sufficient bandwidth. Purchase a copy of Link + Hud from Blue Willow Bookshop before March 3 (via the linked pre-order page), and you'll receive a custom print along with your signed (and personalized, if you want) copy of Link + Hud while supplies last.

In order to go through the signing line and meet Jarrett and Jerome Pumphrey for book personalization, please purchase Link + Hud: Heroes by a Hair from Blue Willow Bookshop. At the time of your purchase, we will issue a signing line ticket that indicates your place in line. Your book and signing line ticket can be picked up at the event.

About the Author:

Jarrett Pumphrey is an author/illustrator and the former cofounder and CEO of a tech startup. He lives in Austin, Texas.

Jerome Pumphrey is an author/illustrator and a graphic designer at The Walt Disney Company. He lives in Clearwater, Florida.

Ordering:

Payment type must be "CreditCard." Shipping will be charged if you want the book shipped to you. If you'd prefer to use our curbside pickup program, we ask that you please collect your book(s) within one month of the event date. After that date, your book will be donated to a Houston-based literacy organization.

International shipping can run from $25-50US in addition to the cost of the book and can take up to 3 months to reach its destination. Additionally, we can only ship to certain regions and countries. If you'd like to pursue international shipping, please email cathy@bluewillowbookshop.com.
