Marie Lu | Steelstriker

What: We're hosting a virtual meet and greet with store favorite Marie Lu for her new book Steelstriker. This ticketed event will take place on Zoom. Attendees will receive a signed bookplate, a copy of Steelstriker and a chance to meet Marie briefly in a virtual signing line.

When: Wednesday, September 29, 2021, 7:00pm

This is a ticketed virtual event and seats are limited. In order to attend, please purchase a copy of Steelstriker from Blue Willow Bookshop. We will send you an email Wednesday morning, September 29, with details on how to log on to the event. Also, we'll include a bookplate signed by the author for you to place in your book! It's our way of saying "thanks." Your support is critical to keeping us here and offering events like this, and we hope to do that for many years to come! 

We expect all participants to maintain an atmosphere of respect and fairness. Anyone who violates this standard of behavior including engaging in any form of harassment, may, at the discretion of the organizers, be immediately removed. 

About the Author:

Marie Lu is the #1 New York Times-bestselling author of the Legend series, The Young Elites trilogy, Batman: Nightwalker, and the Warcross series. She graduated from the University of Southern California and jumped into the video game industry, where she worked as an artist. A full-time writer, she spends her spare hours reading, drawing, playing games, and getting stuck in traffic. She lives in the traffic-jam capital, Los Angeles, with her illustrator/author husband, Primo Gallanosa, their Pembroke Welsh corgi, and their Chihuahua-monster mix.

Ordering:

Payment type must be "CreditCard." Shipping will be charged if you want the book shipped to you. If you'd prefer to use our curbside pickup program, we ask that you please collect your book(s) within one month of the event date. After that date, your book will be donated to a Houston-based literacy organization.

International shipping can run from $25-50US in addition to the cost of the book and can take up to 3 months to reach its destination. Additionally, we can only ship to certain regions and countries. If you'd like to pursue international shipping, please email cathy@bluewillowbookshop.com.
