Jeanine Cummins - Cancelled

After much consideration and discussion with the book’s publisher, our event with Jeanine Cummins has been cancelled. It was our hope to have a deep and meaningful conversation with her about the topics in American Dirt. Over the last several days, it became clear to us that we could not deliver the event we had envisioned. For those of you who do not know, there has been a growing controversy about this book, focusing on cultural appropriation and sterotypes. We hope that you will visit us and engage us in conversation about this and other important topics. We are listening.
