We are very excited to welcome Jasmine Guillory to Houston to celebrate her new book, By the Book. Jasmine will be joined by Houston's own Bryan Washington to talk about her new book.
We are asking all event attendees to mask and we have surgical masks on hand if you find yourself without one. Given the rapidly shifting circumstances surrounding COVID, please check this page to confirm that the event will take place in person.
NOTE: Books will be available for pick up at the event.

In order to go through the signing line and meet Jasmine Guillory for book personalization, please purchase By the Book from Blue Willow Bookshop. At the time of your purchase, we will issue a signing line ticket that indicates your place in line. Your book and signing line ticket can be picked up at the event.

About the Author:
Jasmine Guillory is a New York Times bestselling author of novels including The Wedding Date, the Reese's Book Club selection The Proposal, and While We Were Dating. Her work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Cosmopolitan, Bon Appétit, and Time, and she is a frequent book contributor on The Today Show. She lives in Oakland, California.
Bryan Washington is a National Book Award 5 Under 35 honoree, National Book Critics Circle Award Finalist, and winner of the Dylan Thomas Prize and the Ernest J. Gaines Award for Literary Excellence. He received the New York Public Library Young Lions Fiction Award for his first book, Lot, which was also a finalist for the NBCC’s John Leonard Prize, the PEN/Robert W. Bingham Prize, and the Aspen Words Literary Prize. Ordering:
Payment type must be "CreditCard." Shipping will be charged if you want the book shipped to you. If you'd prefer to use our curbside pickup program, we ask that you please collect your book(s) within one month of the event date. After that date, your book will be donated to a Houston-based literacy organization.
International shipping can run from $25-50US in addition to the cost of the book and can take up to 3 months to reach its destination. Additionally, we can only ship to certain regions and countries. If you'd like to pursue international shipping, please email cathy@bluewillowbookshop.com.
