HYBRID: Daniel Jose Older | Ballad and Dagger
What:
Daniel José Older will appear in person to discuss his new novel Ballad and Dagger with our good friend J. Elle. This event will also be streamed live via a Zoom webinar. You will be able to see the author, but they will not be able to see you. We will have the chat and the Q&A functions open in the webinar.
Due to the size of the shop, we cannot effectively socially distance, so all event attendees will be required to mask. We have surgical masks on hand if you find yourself without one. Given the rapidly shifting circumstances surrounding COVID, please check this page to confirm that the event will take place in person.

- This event is free to attend, but registration is required. You can register for the VIRTUAL event here. Once you register, you will receive an invitation to join the virtual event. If you are attending in person, registration is not required.

About the Creator:
Daniel José Older is a New York Times best-selling author and story architect. He has published fourteen novels and numerous short stories and essays, and he is a regular comics writer for Star Wars: The High Republic Adventures and Marvel. He won the International Latino Book Award and has been a finalist for the Kirkus Prize, the Mythopoeic Award, the Locus Award, the Andre Norton Award, and the World Fantasy Award. Payment type must be "CreditCard." Shipping will be charged if you want the book shipped to you. If you'd prefer to use our curbside pickup program, we ask that you please collect your book(s) within one month of the event date. After that date, your book will be donated to a Houston-based literacy organization.
