We work hard to bring events to our community for free, because connecting readers with authors is central to our mission. But these programs are not free for us to put on! If you’re interested in attending this event, we hope you’ll consider purchasing a copy of these authors books from our bookshop -- if you do, we'll include a bookplate signed by the authors for you to place in your book! It's our way of saying "thanks." Your support is critical to keeping us here and offering events like this, and we hope to do that for many years to come!
The panels will be uploaded to YouTube and will remain there for 2 weeks. PLEASE NOTE: Individuals are not allowed to record panels for future viewing.
Blue Willow Bookshop expects all participants to maintain an atmosphere of respect and fairness. Any comments or questions that violate this standard of behavior including any form of harassment, may, at the discretion of the organizers, be immediately removed.

If you like Mo Willems’ Pigeon, you’ll love Sam Wedelich’s Chicken Little!Who are you calling little?"In this clever spin on the classic tale... empathy ends up saving the day, and the moral (don't believe everything you hear; check the facts) is broadcast loud and clear." -- The Horn Book"Whimsy reigns in Wedelich's debut picture book...
A little boy visits an art museum for the first time in this fun, sweet picture book about first experiences and seeing things from new perspectives.
Simon is having a great time at the museum with his parents. There are slippery, slidey floors! Pigeons flying around the reflecting pool! And cheesecake in the café! But they’re not really here for any of that.
