Bob Shea

What: Bob Shea will discuss and sign his new picture book, CRASH, SPLASH, OR MOO! When Hurricane Harvey hit last fall, Bob was one of the first people to reach out to the shop and ask to help. He started a donation program that raised more than $10,000 to support area schools affected by Harvey.

To thank Bob for his support and generosity, we encourage you to attend his event and to order a signed copy of his newest book. If you're not local to Houston or can't make the event, we ship anywhere in the country, so order your book below!

Admission:  In order to go through the signing line and meet Bob Shea, please purchase CRASH, SPLASH, OR MOO! from Blue Willow Bookshop. At the time of your purchase, we will issue a signing line ticket that indicates your place in line. Your book and signing line ticket can be picked up at the event.

About the Author:

Bob Shea has created many books for young people, including the popular Dinosaur vs. series, Unicorn Thinks He's Pretty Great, The Happiest Book Ever and The Scariest Book Ever, and the early readers featuring Ballet Cat. He has also invented stories such as Big Plans, illustrated by Lane Smith, and drawn the pictures for books such as Love, Triangle, written by Marcie Colleen. Bob used to make things for Comedy Central and PBS Kids. Now he makes things for no reason--like animations, a giant lemon head, and his basement game show, Jackpot Basement. A limited number of autographed copies of this book will be available for purchase after the event.  If you cannot attend the event and would like a personalized copy of this book, please call us before the event at (281) 497-8675, or add the book to your cart on our website and add personalization details in the order notes. Payment type must be "CreditCard." Shipping will be charged if you want the book shipped to you. If you cannot attend the event and prefer in-store pick up, please pick up your unclaimed book(s) within a month of the event date. After that date, your book will be donated to a Houston-based literacy organization.
