Event Guidelines:

In order to go through the signing line and meet Kathleen for book personalization, please purchase one of her books from Blue Willow Bookshop. Since quantities are limited, we recommend purchasing your book ahead of time to ensure that you receive a copy. Your book can be picked up at the event.

If you cannot attend the event or you live out of town and would like a signed copy of the book, please indicate any personalization requests in the “comments” section when you check out.

If you are not feeling well, we encourage you to remain at home and we will get your book signed for you. If you need a surgical mask, we have them on hand if you find yourself without one.

About the Author:

Kathleen Dorothy Blackburn teaches in the University of Chicago Creative Writing Program. She is a Pushcart Prize nominee whose work has appeared in Colorado ReviewGuernicaGulf CoastPleiades, and swamp pink, and was listed as notable in Best American Essays.

Ordering:

Payment type must be "CreditCard." Shipping will be charged if you want the book shipped to you. If you'd prefer to use our curbside pickup program, we ask that you please collect your book(s) within one month of the event date. After that date, your book will be donated to a Houston-based literacy organization.

International shipping can run from $25-50US in addition to the cost of the book and can take up to 3 months to reach its destination. Additionally, we can only ship to certain regions and countries. This purchase will include a shipping charge of $50US and if the charge is less than that, we will refund the difference when we ship your book.
