Coming from the West, turn left on Fern at the Blue Willow event flag. There is limited parking in front of the school. If that lot is full, please proceed to Memorial Greens. Approach the auditorium through the middle of the building.

Admission: This is a ticketed event. Visit Brown Paper Tickets to purchase a ticket to the event. Your ticket will admit one person, and each ticket includes a copy of SEA STORIES. You can choose to have your ticket mailed to you or to print it out at home. In either case, bring your ticket to the event. When you arrive at the event, you will receive your book and a ticket that indcates your place in the signing line, which will follow the conversation.
We recognize that some of you may have purchased a copy of SEA STORIES elsewhere or may not want to keep the copy that comes with each ticket. Therefore, Blue Willow Bookshop will collect copies that you may wish to donate and will ensure that they are given to Texas schools or public libraries.
Admiral William H. McRaven (U.S. Navy Retired) is the author of the #1 New York Times bestselling book Make Your Bed. In his thirty-seven years as a Navy SEAL, he commanded at every level. As a Four-Star Admiral, his final assignment was as Commander of all U.S. Special Operations Forces. After retiring from the Navy, he served as the Chancellor of the University of Texas System from 2015 to 2018. He now lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife, Georgeann.
If you cannot attend the event, please make arrangements to pick up your unclaimed book(s) within a month of the event date. After that date, your book will be donated to a Houston-based literacy organization.
