About the Authors
Dana DuTerroil and Joni Fincham are a two-woman team who create personalized guides to Houston and give tours of the city to visitors and residents. Dana, a Houston native, and Joni, a transplant to the city, provide an insider's knowledge of the city paired with a newcomer's perspective.
In 2015, they founded their business, Trip Chandler, with the mission of showcasing the uniqueness of the city in an accessible way that goes beyond top 10 lists. Dana and Joni write about Houston for a variety of publications seeking local expertise and novel ways to explore the city, including their debut book, 111 Places in Houston That You Must Not Miss, and it’s follow-up, 111 Places for Kids in Houston That You Must Not Miss, available Fall 2022.
Their favorite Houston outings include chilling with a cold one at an icehouse, browsing for bling on Harwin Drive, pretending the Menil Collection is their private residence, and chowing down on dumplings all over Bellaire Boulevard.
