In the late 1880's, Frank Lenz of Pittsburgh dreamed of cycling around the world.  He finally began his quest and made it to the final leg before disappearing somewhere in Turkey.  His disappearance sparked an outcry and led another cyclist, William Sachtleben, to go in seach of Lenz.

David Herlihy's gripping narrative in The Lost Cyclist captures the soaring joys and constant dangers accompanying the bicycle adventurer in the days before paved roads and automobiles.

We're pleased to partner with Bicycle World to welcome David Herlihy to Houston!

This event is free and open to the public.  If you wish to go through the signing line and meet David Herlihy for book personalization, you must purchase The Lost Cyclist from Blue Willow Bookshop.  If you cannot attend the event, but would like a signed copy of The Lost Cyclist, please call the store at (281) 497-8675.
