Join us for this month’s American Girl Club! Girls from Kindergarten through 4th grade are most welcome and we encourage you to invite a friend from your school or neighborhood. Plan to bring along your American Girl Doll (or not, as you wish).
Please wear comfortable play clothes as we sit on the floor for our meetings. If the weather is inviting, we will gather outside for our snack preparations. You are encouraged to bring along an old bath towel to join us as we sit outside on the "back patio" for our meeting.
For more information, please call us at (281) 497-8675.
Start: 1:30 pm
New York Times Bestselling author Sophie Jordan will discuss and sign Firelight, the first book in her young adult paranormal series.
With her rare ability to breathe fire, Jacinda is special even among the draki—the descendants of dragons who can shift between human and dragon forms. But when Jacinda’s rebelliousness leads her family to flee into the human world, she struggles to adapt, even as her draki spirit fades. The one thing that revives it is Will, whose family hunts her kind. Jacinda can’t resist getting closer to him, even though she knows she’s risking not only her life but the draki’s most closely guarded secret.
This Blue Willow Bookshop event is free and open to the public. In order to go through the signing line and meet Sophie Jordan for book personalization, you must purchase Firelight from Blue Willow Bookshop. If you cannot attend the event but would like a signed copy of Firelight, give us a call at (281) 497 8675.
