Energy Corridor, Houston, Texas

The Energy Corridor began earning its name in the 1970s, when energy industry corporations began building their suburban office campuses in West Houston. Bustling with its countless office buildings, the Energy Corridor now holds many new restaurants, coffee shops and parks. Just on the edge of Houston and Katy, this suburban area is the last stretch of Houston area, with school districts serving from Houston Independent School District, Spring Branch Independent School District, and Katy Independent School District. This area is the second largest employment center in Houston, with more than 300 companies and 94,000 employees.

Blue Willow Bookshop is located on the eastern edge of the Energy Corridor, on Dairy Ashford. We are a neighborhood bookshop with outreach throughout the Houston area, and we welcome you to come browse our shelves for books, games, puzzles, stationery, and more. Driving from the west on I-10, turn right on either Eldridge or Dairy Ashford (depending on the construction!). If driving from Eldridge, turn left and follow Memorial until you reach the Dairy Ashford and Memorial intersection, then we are on the left in the HEB shopping center. If turning down Dairy Ashford, turn left into the HEB shopping center from Dairy Ashford, just past the high school where you'll see a Wing Stop.
